Electrical burn and Storm - stack?

Post by zmeii »

Hello, I am playing Dream/Spirit, 47th lvl. My question is - does electrical burn from Temporal rift and Psionic immolation stack with any example of electrical % bonus damage - as Static surge - Storm? Thank you in advance! :)

Yep, everything that's a duplicate of any kind in the game will stack.

But lightning is a different type of damage than electric - kinda weird

so +% to lightning skills/items won't help electric.

I guess they stack in the same way poison stacks with bleed. You get both damage outputs but +poison% or flat doesn't help bleed and vice versa. In other words there is no synergy between lightning and electric. Otherwise storm/dream would be inbalanced.

Well, poison and bleeding is kind of a rough comparison. Maybe Bleeding and Vitality Damage would be better, but yeah, do watch out for names because if they name something different even if it's the same, it's not going to stack but rather be two separate damage types.
