I am currently playing on Epic level (4 different characters, all Epic). Could any player or anyone at all please explain just why the Resistances are all showing a negative sign, (e.g. -25). That is all except one (Fire), which is OK.

Because at higher difficulties (Epic and Legendary) the resistances are reduced by a severe amount, just like it was in diablo 2. So, if you have a negative 25% resistance to say cold, then that means unless you get your cold resistance up, you'll be taking 25% more damage from any cold attack.
