Which factors determine the increase of an attribute? How can I see the attribute modifier?
thanks

I'm sorry, but could you clarify that please?
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Base value means how many attribute points you've spent on your character (You get 2 per level, and you see the [+] icon next to the name, i.e. Strength and Intelligence.)
The +# next to the Base Value is what your items or masteries have given you.

There would have to be a lot more subsequent testing before you could know the actual numbers...

But I would suggest just looking at your average damage (not DPS) change when you add Strength, and look at the change in Offensive/Defensive skill when you add Dexterity. I wouldn't know what to tell you about Intelligence, except for maybe checking Energy regeneration rate.

Read your Titan Quest manual...

...at least the part about the attribute and skill points. It will tell you what you are asking about, if the last post was more of what you are asking about. But never the less here is what the books says about them:

Health: Adds health to your character, increases life regen

Energy: Adds energy to your character

Strength: Adds damage to your melee attacks

Intelligence: Increases energy regen. magical weapon damage (mainly staves), and magic user items

Dexterity: Increases pierce damage, Offensive Ability (chance to hit or crit), and Defensive Ability (chance to block with shields). Required for hunter and rogue items

Here are the examples they have in the book:

Hitting
Offensive Ability & Defensive Ability ... Based on Dexterity

To Hit = (Rand Number) * (Offensive Ability - Defensive Ability)
Attacker Defender

To Hit Results can be High(Critical), Medium(Hit), or Low(Miss)

Physical Damage
Base Damage = (Weapon Damage) + Bonuses + (Skill Damage) + (Crit Damage)

Physical Damage = (Base Damage) * (Strength Multiplier)

Hope this helps.
