I've just ported into ToB and I was wondering if anyone had some good ideas for characters to pick in the demi plane? I have with me Minsc, Jaheria, Imoen, Aerie, and Kelsey (romanced).
I feel like my party is a little bland, maybe as I've had them last time I played...any suggestions to spice it up?
Who am I missing out on?

Sarevok. Great weapon, great interactions.
Jan. Potentially one of the strongest characters in the game during ToB. Also has great party interactions.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I agree with Fable on both. Sarevok is the best front liner (his special attack which can crit for 200+ makes him better then any core-Warrior PC) and has the most dialogue from Bioware NPCs.
Jan and his turnips is a good pick for any party.
Other then that - mods. There are several NPCs with enormous amount of dialogue in ToB, and there are few mods which expand the NPC banter.
"The longest road" adds Irenicus, and is quite interesting, lots of dialogue between Jon and the Bhaalspawn, lots of surprising events too.

@Jordoo. Yes. 'banterpack'
Thanks there
I want to save up some NPC to play on other re-runs. but that sounds fun to me. Thanks
Thanks there
That's the problem, Picking up sarevok seems like the last thing my character would do. But if he has lots of talk I might just do that. And Jan.Stworca wrote:I agree with Fable on both. Craig, picking up Sarevok may not be what your PC had in mind, but if you do pick him up and chose your dialog path wisely there is a nice reward for an NPC with a good alignment. And I agree with the others Sarevok adds alot of dialog and banters with every other NPC plus any MOD with TOB content with have banter written for Sarevok. Also Jan is always good at making things interesting and as mentioned he is very powerfull late in the game much like Aerie.
