Well I have problems with the computer crashing when I try to start certain dialogues. One is a wood elf girl in the forest across from some caves on the overland map, and another is in the priorry of the deep. I'm v1.23 patched

During the dialogues, are there any magic-type graphics effect on visible on the screen? On a person or object, doesn't matter. Anything fancy.

On the over-land wood-elf, no. In the bitch-queen's temple, my sorceror: Improved Mage Armor, Mirror Image, Etheral Image(or some such), and on my Pal/FavSoul: Animalistic Power, Shield of faith and conviction, bless and aid too

Try and see what happens if you initiate it without any effects on you.
I had some recent issues with Neverwinter Nights and a selection of other games due to bad NVidia drivers. I had to roll back (I went from 190.38 back to 160.18). The nature of these crashes varied from game to game, but in Neverwinter Nights 2 it would always happen in dialogue mode while viewing some kind of magic effect.
