It's late October, and don't fake us out: you've already been thinking about the gifts you either want or expect, later. What are they? Post! :D

Gee, @Jaker, for a moment there I thought you were going to do a Stevie Wonder impression. Whew. ;)

I'm looking at maybe a few computer games, but I'm not really sure what I want... Maybe some books, or something like that.

Fable! Did you have to bring it up? Every year I do my utmost to ignore the issue until around the 23:rd of December. They haven't put up the X-mas decorations here yet, and my mother hasn't called either me or my brother asking for "the list". Now I'll have to accomplish some selfinduced denial.

Since you brought it up, I'd wan't my laundry to clean itself, my harddisks to always have at least 5GB space remaining, an idea that someone else hasn't thought of and messed up it's standard (ie why make something simple when you can make it mindbogglingly complex), a machine that produces delicious food out of a bottle of ketchup and a moldy piece of cheese, selfwatering plants (the "selfwatering" kind we have today just postpone the inevitable...) and milk, Guinness and Cocacola on tap in my home.

:D

There was this bit Steve Martin did on Saturday Night Live when he was hosting once where he was talking about Chistmas and giving his wish list, and he wanted all the children of the world to sing together. But then he kept thinking of other things he wanted, like 1 billion dollars, revenge on all his enemies, orgies of sex with supermodels, absolute power over all creation, etc. So he was trying to balance out all those desires with the one about the children singing. Anyway, that's what I was thinking of.

One other thing i want for Christmas is a 4 barrel carb for my Gran Torino. Oh well, I better start saving now, cuz no-one else is gonna get it for me :)

This thread was intended as spam, so everything is on-topic! Muwa-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA...! ;)

On a slightly less silly note, I am going to lobby for a one-time dramatic increase in my monthly spending on CDs, and for a small but succulent group of videos I've been wanting for a while. Don't know what else. Mind, I've got a birthday and the holidays in that month, so I have to think about a few things. Typically, my wife and I exchange multiple gifts in any case.

I'm actually thinking an Xbox might be cool, been a while since I played console games, and I'd like to be able to play against my husband!

A trip to Amsterdam

The NY Giants to win the division and make the playoffs to the Superbowl

To hear as few Christmas Carols as possible (can't stand 'em)

Someone to develop a really great RPG!!!!!

How much does an Xbox go for, these days?

CDs. Lots of CDs. :D
Maybe a few videos, books etc.

And a TV, but I think my parents are going to get me that for my birthday next month ;)

Oh, I did ask them for a holiday, but apparently I can't have one until I graduate...

Books sound good, too. Maybe I can find one of those Chicago University Press (or similar publishing house) reductions on stock that isn't new.

Not a chance. If nothing else, I can always wish for understanding among humans. (I tend to go for the hard, expensive stuff like that.)
