raising disposition

Post by mewp »

All through the games Original and expansions I am supposed to raise the disposition of someone. How do I do this? I have tried charm and it doesn't work. Is there a trick to this?

Hmm that's odd. Charm should work... it worked fine whenever i tried it. Other alternatives are bribing, playing the disposition mini-game, having a high personality and decent enough fame (i think).

The disposition mini-game is pretty silly imho. But once you get the hang of it, it becomes more or less automatic and quite easy

Charm works, but you can only raise disposition once, if I recall correctly. After that, you have to wait until the spell wears off before you can cast a disposition altering spell, again. Perhaps you cast it twice?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

It worked with Anya but I can't get it to work with the guy. I am in Demitia in SI. I even considered killing him and stealing the key. Would that work?

If you have multiple Charm spells as long as they have different names you can cast them all on the person without having to wait for the next spell to wear off. So that way you can easily have a combined Charm effect.
