Does anyone else have the insatiable need to buy little technological devices and gizmos to play with?

I currently have a 6GB Mp3 player, well anyway i just got a big speaker system for it (fantastic Bass 27 CM across sub ;) ) i was just wondering is am i the only person who has this obsession about such things?

Hmm...not really, at least not my own gadgets :) Just my computer for gaming, computer games...

Maybe this gizmo thing is something akin to 'remote control syndrome'?

funny you should mention gizmo...gremlins just started on HBO. :p

i don't have the money to buy much, but when i do, it usually gets blown on all sorts of gadgets

I'm more addicted to large technological gizmos rather than small ones. I need to build a new desktop PC each year. I need to upgrade/trade/exchange my home audio components biannually. Right now, I'm saving up to buy the SETI program. Anyone interested in being charged with a sacred quest to find the green men.

Gadgets are fun. Too bad they're not as much fun when the next generation comes. Today, you barely have time to get out of the store until you're stuff is archaic ;)

Well my MP3 player has dropped by £40 in about 6 months which for technology is amasing ;)

Can't say I care much for gizmos, no. My wife likes to tinker with complex electronic controls, but I'm the sort who is perfectly happy walking into a Chinese restaurant and pushing repeatedly on the ceramic cat that bobs up and down on a spring, then laughs crazily. Image

Kitchen gadgets! I love kitchen gadgets. :D I have a special grater for gingers. :)

Shame, I don't have enough space (and money) to buy everything I want for cooking. :D

I think I'm glad to see this topic isn't about what I first thought of when I read the topic title(it isn't about that, is it?).

Am I obsessed with gizmos and gadgets? Hmm...I've got a D3 Digivice, Pocket Pikachu 2 GS, Gigapet, a pen that doubles as an Electronic Organizer, a wallet-sized electronic organizer, a pocket-sized radio, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Electronic Black Jack, a scientific calculator, a graphing calculator, a Game.Com, and two Game Gears. Me? Obsessed with little electronic things? Nah. ;) :D

My favorite little electronic toy would have to be the Rumble Packs for N64. That thing rarely stops vibrating while playing Mario Kart 64. ;) :D

Well since I'm poor, I have no gizmos to play with :( :( .

Only got my PC, but I think it is to big to be called a gizmo - or at least it tells me :D
