If this offends anyone you can post your objections as smoke signals.

If you take ritalin, I would have your parents look in to the effects of this drug. I have saw reports that this drug has more negative effects than positive.
"Vile and evil, yes. But, That's Weasel" From BS's book, MD 20/20: Fine Wines of Rocky Flop.
Do not quote Weasel as a source for this information, if you are worried about any drugs one might be taking then research the subject throughly. There is nothing worse than having bad sources of information. No offence intended Weasel, but if Craig goes home to his parents and says, Weasel told me they were bad you can imagne the confusion.

@Weasel; it's called 'instant gratification' and it's a malady of most Western cultures. I want it and I want it now. Also a large contributor is all the advertising that the drup companies do to sell their 'designer' drugs - the newest ones happen to be for bladder spasms. So you can imagine how pervasive a drug for every 'problem' is in the public eye.
Ritalin (IMO and from what I've read) is overly prescribed. Especially here (US). A lot of that is due to parents not wanting to take an active role in raising their kids (both parents work or single parent families) so they want a pill to 'control' their kids behavior rather than use the technique my parents used - a swift swat to the neither regions! Don't get me wrong, there is legitimate need for mood altering drugs as there are some kids that do have a disorder (my youngest son is bipolar and is medicated for it). But the 'learning disorders' are overly diagnosed, especially in this country.
Sleep writes: No offence intended Weasel, but if Craig goes home to his parents and says, Weasel told me they were bad you can imagne the confusion.
I think you may have phrased this a bit awkwardly. No doubt what you wanted to write was, "No offense intended but if Craig goes home to his parents and says, a weasel told me they were bad you can imagine the confusion." In that, you would be right, because weasels (as we all know) aren't effective pharamcologists. They are much better chiropractors. Craig, tell your folks that several minks recommended maintanence doses of several other drugs. I'm sure you'll be pleased by the seriousness with which they regard your statement.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

As the fastest typing spammer, I highly disapprove this quote. And I seldom misstyped.
