Can`t Level Up

My F/M/T - 17/16/20 has just been cleared to level up. When I try to do so, I get this message -
"this character is equiped with items it can no longer use but cannot drop"
I have tried dropping each item in turn but nothing makes any difference.
I haven't picked up anything just lately and he isn't carrying anything that a F/M/T hasn't carried in my games previously.
Has anybody any ideas, please?

Use [url="http://www.mud-master.com/shadowkeeper/index.html"]Shadowkeeper[/url] save game editor and remove all of the items that your character has on, then you can see which one is the one that is causing this error.

Thanks for reply. Afraid it doesn't work. I think it's all tied up with his UAI.
Even if it did work, it would mean the same rigmarole every time he levels up.
It's a shame really, I'm three quarters of the way there.
It's a bug I've never come across before and it's stopped my game dead.
Without leveling, there's not much point in continuing.

I'm levelling up in Shadowkeeper at the moment. We'll see if that causes any complications!

This has totally ruined my game.
Has anyone got any ideas please?
