Apart from yourself, your family and other living things, what would be the first things you saved if your house was on fire?
(It's assumed that your computer is already safe. )
This is what I would save first:
1. Art objects made by my father and grandfather.
2. Slides from my expeditions and journeys.
3. A propeller blade from a B-52 my grandfather found wrecked during WW2.

Well I'd try to save my computer, but I'd might not make it - have to disconect all the cables - then try to hall a fulltower out through a burning building
Other than that - I've nothing of value
I guess my pictures of my family. Anything else can be replaced. Time would be the question....given enough time I would get all my Dale Earnhardt stuff, coin collection and my books.

Sorry to nitpick Ms Elegans, that couldn't have been a B-52 from WW2 - they're 50's era jets.
A B25 perhaps? Or a B-17?
My favourite material posessions:
1: PC
2: DVD payer
3: 5.1 surround sound setup.
4: My palm pilot
5: My "colletors" diecast tanks and planes ( )
6: My Guinness Zippo lighter.
7: My Rocky the suirrel toy

I don't really know....maybe my cd-vinyls collection; some photos i've made; some paintings....but in the heat of the moment it would be a difficult decision.....

My issue of Detective Comics #34, not in great shape, but a good read from 1939.
Hard to prioritize. Probably would need some clothes, some of my daughter's toys (her needs are greater than mine, you see), have a few antiques, but some photos might be more precious. I always carry fond memories of my dog. Don't need the BG2 save-games: losing those would give me an excuse to play it all over again!
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

I have no idea, I know virtually nothing about war planes. It was one of my friends, a pilot, who claimed he was absolutely sure it was from a B-52. He must have had a bad hangover that day
Anyway, the propeller is very nice

Sorry for the first spam Actually I'll get my Kawasaki Ninja Bike, My SHOEI Helmet, My leather jacket + gloves, PDA and the last might be a pair of samurai and a set of ninja weapons
@KidD - we too have a Kawasaki Ninja ZX9! Well, hubby has! I had to settle for going back to a car as they don't make side cars for sports bikes!
Top bike though
So top we had it stolen a couple of weeks ago. We gave chase but didn't catch the gits that took it. The police arrested one guy and we found the bike in the back of a transit van! £200 damage to the yoke where they broke the steering lock but at least we got it back. Destined for spares - it must have been - it was imobilised and datatagged but...
Parachute for sale, like new! Never opened!
Guinness, black goes with everything.
