Stuck in West Harbor, Act 3

Post by LegalCounsel »

I'm in West Harbor, Act 3. I've killed the reaver. I returned to the ruins and entered the portal to return to the Song Portal. The game loads up all 13 areas and the blue bar is full and it just stops. Task manager shows the game still running, but using 70-90 percent CPU. After 20 minutes, the same. Cannot escape the screen. Have to kill the appl. I have two prior saves, one from during the battle with the reaver and one from before the battle, both in West Harbor. I've played both through, but no different result. I've loaded the saved game on another computer with the game on it and get the same result. I've requested assistance from Atari twice, but no response beyond the automated e-mail. I am happy to send my saved game files if anyone thinks that will help. If you can get me through the portal and send a save back, I'd be forever grateful.

I have had problems with Atari. They have god awful customer service.

Maybe someone will post to help with this problem on this board but remember the bioware boards common problems with NWN2 are frequently discussed (although it is made by Obsidian). So I post to remind you to check there as well. There are also Atari boards as I'm sure they will tell you if they ever get back to you!
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
