Rosethorn Hidden Treasure?

Post by RavenWhitehawk »

Rosethorn Hidden Treasure? (Possible Spoiler!)

Well, I bought my Second House, Rosethorn Manor in Skingrad, I was looking through the Walk-throughs, and saw that there was One that Mentioned Hidden Treasure in Rosethorn. A nice little bonus for buying a house, but alas, I went Searching and the Treasures are not there, :( . The Walk-through Mentions a Hidden Shelf Above the Deer head in my new Bedroom, there is no Deer head, much less a Desk to jump up onto to get up on the Hidden shelf above the Deer head.

I Was wondering if I need a Certain House Upgrade, for me to find this "Hidden Treasure"?

Also, I put Display Cases in my house in Skingrad so I was wondering how do I display stuff in the display Cases, they are Kinda useless if I can not Display things in them.

Have Fun everyone,
Raven

Spoiler
My character died once during the Battle of the Imperial City, and the game reloaded properly, but when I quit because I accidently killed someone, it crashed. So I checked my e-mails and then got another one about the forum, and so here I am in time to reply to you again! Really, just coincidence!

Anyway, to answer your questions, yes you need to buy all of the available upgrades. The house comes with two journal quests. One involves hiring your servant Eyja, that lasts one paragraph, and the other is the hidden treasure that doesn't spawn until all of the furniture is in its place, to avoid cheating on it. Once all of it is purchased, you get plenty of display cases! However, if that isn't enough, there's a mod called "My Personal Museum" or "Your Personal Museum" or "Personal Museum", that adds a teleportation pad in the basement that takes you to a secret museum to display you mannequins and display cased items that don't fit in the regular ones.

According to the UESP, some of the upgrades can be stolen rather than purchased, if you are short on money.

You also have a non-journal quest concerning the haunted house near the manor! Kill the ones haunting it and loot the place! Or use it as an extra house as no one ever buys it! Also a nice place to help thieves get stolen goods without killing people too!

I hope that helps you!
Shhh! Be very quiet! I may be sleep writing and sleep reading!
