Another Dual Class ?
I'm about to start a new character, and i want him to be dual classed from a swashbuckler to a duelist (sword and fist kit), or vice versa. Do you need to be level 2 before the dual class icon is highlighted, because i dont want to spend too much time working on him to just realize it wont work. Can you dual class with these kits, or any kits for that matter?
I'm not very familiar with the Sword and Fist mod. You might pose your question on their message boards for fuller clarification.
However, you cannot dual into a kit. You can chose swashbuckler as your starting kit. And, you should be able to dual class to a fighter. However, you will not be able to legally chose a kit. I *believe* you can go in to the game via Shadow Keeper and set your second class kit. But, I have never tested this.
And, yes, you have to be second level before you can dual class.

First of all, I assume that you're using the TuTu mod for Baldur's Gate, to allow you to play a Swashbuckler. Second, I assume you're using an outside mod to get the dualist class into the game.
First of all, you may never dual class to a kit. You always dual class to a base class, such as fighter, thief, cleric and so forth.
You cannot dualclass to certain classes, such as a Monk, Sorcerer, Bard or Barbarian, so you should check the mod readme to see if it's even possible to dual class with it.
Also, you'd need to meet certain stat requirements as well.
