Missing NPC! (Oh no, not another one!) SPOILER?!

Yes, another missing NPC! This time it is I who am missing one! I am missing Chanel! I need to accuse her and she vanished! She was meandering about, but then she went somewhere and now I can't find her. Oddly enough, the others involved in the quest are gathered before the Countess as if a mod placed them there to wait for me to end the quest.

(If it is a mod, is it related to the one that placed a chicken house on Maeva the Buxom's farm? Minus any occupants though.)

I've used "TCL" to search for her behind the walls but to no avail.

I've never known her to leave the castle and go elsewhere either. So, maybe she is doing so and I just haven't a clue as to where she goes.

So I'm here asking for help in finding the missing Chanel. HELP!

I've seen her walking around town during the day, so maybe if you wait until evening she'll show up. I've never seen her outside the city, so it's unlikely that she got killed by creatures or bandits (as once happened to Hlidara Mothril, which made the Ahdarji's heirloom quest interesting, to say the least).

By the way, I forgot when I did my "TCL" search, that indoors, there's nothing for an NPC to fall on, unlike outdoors, where there's a another level of ground or water for them to fall on or swim in, until help arrives. I wonder why that is so. Any ideas?

You have?! Hm. You must've been close enough to tell her apart from the others then, I suppose. Is "Sherry" the name of that woman that likes to stand by the wall? I've wondered why she does that. But anyway, I've already ran to both inns in search of her, while trying not to pick up any other quest starters to detour me from the Main Quest with my newest character, Apple Candy Cane. But I'll try your tip, so thank you very much, Belthan! Hehehe, that hasn't happened to me with H.M. yet. Unless you mean the part when she is supposed to tip you. Sometimes I've had to go on a mini-quest to find her just for the measly amount and to get her reaction! :laugh:

Oh, by the way, I've been trying to avoid using the "PlaceAtMe" command, because that's what I do to bring her back after she's been shunned and banished from the county. Uh, Chanel that is. Hey! Do you think maybe my robbing her room of everything, including the clues, in anticipation of her banishment, may have something to do with it?

Chanel, Lost & Found!

Hello, Belthan!

Okay, I sent Apple outside per your suggestion. She explored castle towers that neither of us had seen before and cleared them out, save for the furniture. She tried the chairs out by sitting on each one, before moving on. She talked to various people and made some essential. She recruited Lazy Kaslowyn for Yellow Squad and even equipped him with enchanted gear. She picked up several training quests. She joined the Mage's Guild.

But where did she finally find Chanel at? Sitting at the desk in Orak's room, drinking from a big Silver Mug!

Now that Chanel's been banished, Apple will bring her back via "PlaceAtMe" so her friend can still hang around town.
