The key initiator is an NPC called "The Prophet" who you should find opposite the main door of the Temple in Anvil. You don't actually have to talk to anyone else, although I always go inside the temple to see what's gone down myself, talking to the guard doesn'tmake any difference. Explore the dialogue options with "The Prophet.

If the Prophet isn't there and the temple is intact something's gone wrong with the install, try again.

(hint).

When he asks you what qualifies you, be modest.

I am now under the impression that you must have completed the main storyline.... is this true? one of my characters has beaten it and can do the quest, but i wish for the newer char to do this quest... or is it a certain lvl requirement?

No, I've always started it prior to getting anywhere near the mid point of the main quest. Definitely before the Allies for Bruma, and usually well before that. In fact I think I started it once before meeting Baurus for the second time in the Imperial City, imediately after getting Martin to Cloudruler.

Hello again, Solcius!

Whew! But, ahh, just as I was going to tell you that according to something that I read somewhere, when installing from the CD or DVD, that each one should be installed in the order as shown on the instructions, or it might lead to glitches with a saved game!
Shhh! Be very quiet! I may be sleep writing and sleep reading!

I play the X-Box version at my brother's home, so that is to say, not very often. I wonder if my character misses me? :(

Yes! Custom races! Thanks to a modder, I was finally able to do justice to mine that I write about in my stories. :D It looks better to create a screenshot from the game, then to try and alter pictures to fit using Paint. :p
