I was thinking about it this should be a great choice for a swordsman styled warrior as the bounses to hit and ac still apply affter the fighter reaches the thiefs level right. I'm considering trying it out and has anyone else tried it

Eh, it's not that great of a mix. Depending on equipment choice you can do five attacks per round anyway and your AC should be -24 after you get Use Any Item.

Because of the Swashbuckler's constant increase in AC and THAC0, the class is constantly strong and doesn't really benefit from the fighter add on.

thanks. I thought it may be a good pairing. and by the way how is it possible to get ac -24 without spells and bard buffs the most i've got is -15 without and -19 with spells and buffs

If you search around the forums (using the search function) you should come by one of my posts in a few different threads explaining how to achieve such a high AC.
