Sure ways to get poisoned/radiated?

Are there any sure ways to get radiated or poisoned in Fallout 2? I'm trying to get the Vault City Inoculations, but I'm having a hard time getting radiated/poisoned.

Radiation should be easy, just walk across the green goo which can be found nearly everywhere. The cave near Klamath is one good place (the one where you can find Smiley). Just be sure you don't have any rubber boots in your inventory and keep lots of stimpaks (or other healing methods) in your inventory.

Poisoning is a bit more tricky, basically you must find critter that deals poisoning damage. Radscorpions are one, and you can find them fairly easily. Just keep on skipping turns and healing and let them deal the damage. Not every hit poisons you, so this reguires far more healing than gaining radiation.

To get radiated buy some liquoer from Gecko -gamma gut, reontgen- and drink em up.
If you walk on the green goo too much -as you will remember- you will get a sixth toe. If you pay doctors to amputate it and then eat it(!) you will get poisoned.

I've never known about this trick, that's gold!
Another alternative (which is not as good), is to hang around Gecko or Klamath for a period of time to get Radiated.
Poison admitably is harder because most of the time a character will recover from poison by the time they reach Vault City.

I think it was Radx or Radaway which will lower resistance to poison/radition as a side effect, which can help.
