This better not be a bug...

Post by darkrogue »

I just got the game, and have been playing it for a few hours and found myself at a point where I cannot progress.

Here's my problem (please solve it for me), in NWN2, I have gotten up to this bit where I had to help Saaln (that lizard guy by highfeild castle ruins) free his tribe from the undead in the castle. After having done so however, I was given two options;

1) No i want to explore some more before we go see your cheiftain
2) Yes take me there now

Now once I had selected option 1) I felt safe in the knowledge that he said back, "Okay, just talk to me when your ready"

Fair enough.

So off I went to complete other quests like saving that Andrew kid after running off to the ruins, I found myslef ready to go.

Problem.

I can't figure out how to talk saaln.... Its stupid, because I cant select him to talk, and I am stalled as to what I do now, my journal just says, Go see the chieftain. Well I would love to.

If anyone has any ideas as to what is going on, please tell me. Its porbobly something stupid, but even so its annoying as hell to be stuck with this kind of problem.

Thanks,
Darkrogue

Highlight your main character by left clicking on their portrait. Now right click on slaan which should give a menu with one of the options is 'talk to'.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
