Only first sentence is voiced in dialogues ?

Post by Arr0nax »

I'm at the beginning of PS:T, and I noticed only the first sentence of the dialogues with Morte and Deionarra has voice-overs.

Is this a bug, or is this normal ? If it's a bug, any idea about how I could solve it ?

It's normal. When PS:T was made, typically only one line of dialog was voiced by any given character at a time. I personally don't think there's much to be said for voicing everything; it takes up a ton of space, uses a lot of memory, and in the case of bad acting, really kills the atmosphere. But each to their own.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Deionarra has a lot more than just one voiced line in that beginning dialogue, for what it's worth. You get another 3 or 4 voiced lines near the end of the dialogue.

All the interparty banters (which you won't get for quite a while, Dak'kon doesn't have any so you have to wait till you get two other NPC's in your party, which takes a while) are fully voiced. Course, they're usually only from 2-5 lines.
