Error

Post by likearock78 »

Hey when I open fallout3 it says. "Failed to initialize renderer. Your display doesn't support the selected resolution. Please set a different resolution in fallout 3 display settings" And it says I have a Intel G33/G31 Express Chip set family? Its a new computer with vista, and I'm not a nerd so I don't know a lot about computers.

I had a similar issue with my computer, set your desktop resalution to a lower level 1028x890(or there abouts) should make it so you don't get that error. 1260x978 is too large for Fallout to operate without issues in, I don't personally know why it matters but it was what fixed the game for me.

Can you get into the game at all? Or does it lock you completely out of it, Cause you also need to set the Game resolution in the options.

If that doesn't work make sure you have the most recent drivers for your Video Card.
