Brillant idea of characters

Post by lucian862703 »

When I was doing that puzzle in Tulla with the Magic symbols on the ground, I got inspired by it and got an idea. As anyone would notice if he would look more attentively. there are 4 puzzles, one for every building, and all the magic colleges in one of the puzzles are somewhat related one to another. After that, I read that book about the Pagan gods of Arcanum, and realized that all the 4 greater gods are somewhat fitted to the 4 circles of magic colleges. Also, I realized that if I use 4 magic colleges on a character, he would be a great mage, as he would get 100% magical aptitude. So concluding. I'm gonna start the game with 4 different characters, and this is how they will be named and what magical powers they will have.

Velorien: Conveyance, Force, Morph, Phantasm
Kai'tan: Earth, Air, Water, Fire
Moorindal: Necromantic White, Necromantic Black, Summoning, Nature
Halcyon: Divination, Meta, Mental, Temportal

P.S. : I'll post back to tell you how they look at level 50. I'm currently playing with Velorien, and I tell ya, he rocks, these 4 magic colleges are simply the best. :D Also please tell me if you think it's a good idea

also I'd like some recommandations for every character, as to what magic college I should become master of. Except for Velorien. I know that Force is the best magic ever :P

Yeah, that's a great idea! Actually, now that i've read what you suggested, I think I'm gonna play Arcanum once again. Unfortunately, I haven't played it for a while and I only played as a magic user once (I liked technologist type), so sorry, can't help you with your three non-force characters. Heh, I can definitely say that Force magic rocks! ;)
