Missing Colonists? (Bloodmoon spoilers?)

Post by dragon wench »

OK.. I thought I knew this game pretty well, but apparently not...

My character is Chief Factor, and the Raven Rock colony is complete. I decided for some reason or another to talk with a guard who gave me a quest to find some "missing colonists." Initially I had to find a trapdoor, which I located, and then I needed to uncover its key...

At first I thought it might be a mod that I had forgotten about, though I was pretty sure I had not installed anything like it. Then I double-checked my mod list, and indeed, other than some texture replacers there are no Bloodmoon mods at all..

Anyway, I've been looking everywhere for the damn key which is apparently beneath something heavy, outside and within the colony confines...

Er does anybody here know this quest?

You've probably finished this or moved on by now, but the key is under a rock along the north wall of the settlement.

Actually, I had sort of gotten distracted by other things, so I actually hadn't finished it, thanks very much for the info!

I thought it was strange that this quest wasn't mentioned in any guides (the dialog was suspicious as well), so I did some digging with the Construction Set and figured out that it was part of the Illuminated Windows mod. I probably wouldn't have used this mod if I had known about the added quest and items.

Ah..... So that is where it comes from. Thank you so much for clearing up that mystery! It had the feel of a modded quest, but for the life of me I could not figure out the origin, since I was convinced I had not installed any Bloodmoon quest mods.
