I've seen various mage guild members selling them, but I don't know if you need to be a certain level for the gems to be in their inventories; nor do I know if you actually need to be a certain rank in the mage's guild.

lol, good point there @ Argonian Thief
Yeah, and if you are on PC, you can also get Deepscorn Hollow.... Though... going through the original vampire cure quest is pretty fun once you manage to get your hands on the gems.

walk through
Go to other quests in the walk-throughs. You will see the walk-through for removing vampirism. Good luck. I can tell you that there are four grand soul gems in a display case on the main floor of the mages guild in Chorol I believe. the case is hard so if you dont have the unlock spell for hard locks or a high security, you may want to try the walk-through

Here's another thing you can do if you don't mind doing a minor quest before checking all other mage guilds w/ lots of locks.
*This is really only incase you dont have the Unlock spells*
Go down by Leyawin eastward/north you should run into that Daedric Quest Nocturnal - doing that you'll get her reward and beable to open ANY lock you come across
it's a real help starting off.

''White light beams through darkness, beset by immense haze over a few seconds followed by a loud cacophony. Motionless, the repercussion of your action strikes your feebled mind and senses. Still dazed, the intensity lingers that follows after tripping over your own sonic blind trap.''
You can't do Nocturnal's quest at the start, you have to be tenth level to get the quest.

Like folk have said, Mages Guilds are good for Grand Soul Gems, either in display cases or to buy from the various merchants inside (once you get to a decent level at least)
Also, when you're at the Witch's house, if you go into her basement there's a load of stuff you can steal, potions etc, including an empty Grand Soul Gem. You can give this to her as one of the five and she's none the wiser. Daft old biddy.

The Vampirism Cure Quest + Alternates!
I agree with that! In addition though,
By the way, did any of the rest of you notice this?

I feel compelled to do it because it helps someone else with a problem of her own. I'd say it is a "damsel in distress" situation, but that implies that she's a virgin. So whatever the word I need here, she needs saving, even if she dies anyway.

Vicente Valteri has his own version of the Vampirism Cure Quest for you. He also tells you to seek out Raminus Polus for more information, but when he does it, the quest has a different name. This option shows up when he gives you the chance to allow him to bite you in your sleep, presumably because you may already be a vampire I'm guessing.
Shhh! Be very quiet! I may be sleep writing and sleep reading!
