What's NO's best weapon (assuming he's a Fighter)?

Post by Klorox »

If you're building NO up as a Fighter, what weapon proficiencies benefit him most?

I'm just finished with the Modron Cube thing, and had completed all of Clerk's Ward in my current game, and the best weapon I had found was a Mace that improved regeneration.

Are Axes better, or what about Fists?

I don't plan on abandoning my current game, but I think a Fighter best suits my playing styles. I often have NO enter melee even as a Mage in my games. I kinda want to do a power run after I'm done and plan on going mostly-Fighter (switching to Thief and Mage only for the class-specific parts).

I don't think it really matters what you specialize him as, since the proficiencies reflect only what you'll be using up to a certain weapon which can take nearly any form and thus covering most weapon categories.

You can access some good weapons if you join the Godsmen.
You can find more details here.

That's the mace I as thinking about! Cool, at least I have an idea of which way to lean. Since it's nice to have a pointy weapon as well, I'm thinking of going with Axes also, but I have seen some really cool Fists weapons.

Depending on your choices, I'd say Dagger or Axe.

You can get Trias' blade as adagger..
Edit: The linking to the dagger isn't hidden by the spoiler, just don't click on it if you don't want to be spoiled. :P

i am also in clerk-ward now. i found some items here:

Item spoiler, highlight to read:
Spoiler
a powerful hammer, but it is to heavy, so if you use hammer, you get lower number of attack times. (ex 1 or 2)
a powerful axe buy from a huge machine man,it is better then that hammer, but axe and hammer only has +1 magic .

three powerful fist !!! i forgot what is it's name.
1 +2 magic damage, vampire blood from your enemy.
2 +2 magic damage,+2 armor,+1 pierce damage
3 +3 magic damage,4-6 pierce,33% magic resist, (only for mage)

use fists weapon can has up to 3~4 attack times!!!
so i think fists weapons is better than axe and hammer.
EDIT: I marked your description of the weapon with "spoiler tags" so the reader must highlight the text in order to read it.
