At the end of bg2 tob can you buy stuff off Samon/Esamon????

I think he's mainly referring to what Saemon says to you when you encounter him in Amkethran(Give these guys back what I sold you, etc.). I guess he doesn't know that it's just Saemon looking out for #1 as usual.
But as Cren says, you can still buy stuff from the Smuggler's Cave you meet Saemon in later in the game.
