WoW Whore Has 36 Accounts, Raids by Himself | Ripten Video Game Blog

Hi! This is a public service announcement from the law offices of Sib & Syb. Many of you are victims of the overwhelmingly addictive substance, known as world of warcraft. As you can see above, this man is so addicted he plays up to 36 games at one time. If you or anyone you know is suffering from this addiction, call our offices now and we'll get you the money you deserve! Just tell the lawyers you have Sib & Syb and tell them we mean business!

Aye, I believe there's a rehabilitation center in Hamsterdam of all places. Wonder why they placed it there of all places. :p

ROFL! You think they have experience with such problems by any chance?

It's funny, because as I wrote my previous post I was thinking that I could certainly imagine more interesting things to be addicted to :p

The worst part, he tried to justify it as a moderate expenditure compared to other "hobbies."

It is rare that I utter these words being a (MMO)gamer myself - but somebody seriously needs to get a life :D

(In fact he can have mine, so I can play 1 account in Warhammer)

Can a game really be that addictive? Does he even remember why he started playing the game?

*shakes head*

I don't know whether it's more shocking the amount of WoW accounts he has or how many computers he has to let himself play so many concurrently. The man must spend a fortune in hardware.

I'm a little conflicted when reading comments on some sites about this -- some people are actually calling him awesome, which totally doesn't correlate with what I'm thinking as I read this.

I mean, he could at least play WAR.

Much more interesting story than the woman who got 100,000 dollars in a grant to study World of Warcraft.

Besides the hardware costs, monthly subsribtion fees and price of upgrading every account to WotLK, think about the electrivity bill the guy gets! :D
THough he probably saves from heating costs, as such a ammount of computers and screen does really produce good ammount of heat

Collecting something expensive would cost over 9000. Cars, mistresses, etc...
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Oh, and as patching my own WoW at the moment, I can't but laugh at the work he has to do to patch all his 36 clients :D
364,67 megs per patch, times 36 does... 13Gb 128,12Mb...
