I have been playing Marrowind for about 400 game days. A while ago, because of some problems I was having, someone here told me I should down load the Mod, which I did. I now have four icons on my desktop; Bloodmoon v.1.6, Tribunal v.1.4, Morrowind v. 1.2 and Morrowind with the play, etc, opening screen.
When I double click on the icons, the following pop-up message appears: Example: The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind is about to be updated to version 1.2. With two buttons, OK - CANCEL.
If I click on OK will I lose anything of the game I am currently playing? Also, how do I move on to play Bloodmoon and Tribunal? Prior to downloading this MOD, I could play in Bloodmoon but not in Tribunal.
Sorry for long post. TIA

Right.
Your installation order should go as follows.
Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon, Bloodmoon Patch.
The the Morrowind Launcher (the screen that has the different options, play, data files etc) should be a frosty grey colour.

Before I venture forth, is there a way to go back the whole thing uo or save to a time before I try activating the patches I downloaded? I would like to establish a separate save file so that if I do something wrong I will still be able to start again where I am right now.
Right now my Launcher screen is a light chocolate brown in color.

Which indicates that you don't have Tribunal or Bloodmoon installed. Tribunal's Launcher is maroon/dark redishbrown, Bloodmoon's is grey as ML pointed out.The light brown launcher is vanilla Morrowind.Lunan wrote:Right now my Launcher screen is a light chocolate brown in color.
As for a backup, simply copy your .ESS file into another folder, although that shouldn't be necessary as it shouldn't get written over when installing or re-installing, it nevr hurts to have back-ups though.
