Ultimate Heist...... Help!!!

I am having a couple of little problems and thought maybe someone could help me. I am playing on the 360. Let me begin by saying that I have installed the Shivering Isles expansion and some of the official mods. First, my character can't sit down any more and I have lost all the items that I had in the magic chest at the Arcane University. Secondly, I am in the library in the Ultimate Heist quest and the priests keep blowing my cover. Can anyone help me? Oh yeah, I am a vampire and working on the cure quest as well. Thanks in advance for any help!

If you can't sit down you're, um, well you can't finish the quest.

In order to finish the quest you have to sit on the chair in front of the table, then someone will bring you the scroll, but no until you've sat.

Not knowing anything about the XBox I'm afraid I don't know, presumable for some reason one of the plugins has messed things up.

If you were on the PC I could offer some ideas, but unless you can protect your saves, uninstall and re-install I really am stuck, sorry.

*Spoiler*If your a vampire and want a cure, download the dumbarrow cove (or however you spell it). Buy every expantion to the cove and somewhere in the cove you will find a a big rock in a little area of water, in the room with the rock will be another rock that is hollow (somewhere in the corner) it will have these certain type of salts take them and goto the rock in the area of water and activate the rock, it will say "Do you want to cure your vampirism" or something like that, and about the sitting down thing, I sorta have the same problem, the thing is though if i press A on the chair it will just make me stand still for a while and then it will be like I'm sitting down except it does not appear that I am (only cuz my oblivion disc suck) And about the monks, If you keep getting spotted you might want to try the Mace Of Doom glitch, I can tell you the glitch if you want? (you get more then the mace of doom) oh and if your running while your still crouching, that might be why your getting caught a lot.

I had the very same problem, and I'm on the vanilla game.

Can you rest/wait inside the library?
Or this "you cannot wait when enemies are nearby" message appear when you are trying to rest? If that's the case, then you must kill all enemies inside the cave & tomb (the Old Way). Don't kill guards or/and the moth priest of course, as you can still wait near them as long as they haven't notice you

I highly recommend Invisibility or 100% Chameleon here (when you've enter the palace)

But I highly don't recommend it when you're still in the cave/Old Way.
Just kill all enemies there (especially the two living Ayleid Guardian statues) to avoid the error "you cannot wait when enemies are nearby" message.

NOTE: I still get that message even after escape(mission failed of course-cannot sit in the library) from the palace (I got the message when I press the wait button inside A Fighting Chance). Fortunately, I still have one save just in front of the strange door leading to the Old Way.
And unfortunately, I have advanced to the wrong rank of the Thieves Guild, so I can't get the Cowl.

At least this always happen to me,
on Sancre Tor, Miscarcand,etc
I just want to pick the Armor and Great Welkynd Stone, without kill any enemy.
After exiting the ruins, I try to fast travel, but can't, so I ran to a nearby town and try to fast travel from there, still can't
the only option was to load a save before entering the ruins.
