Just to sate my curiosity (spoilers)

Is Arroyo screwed no matter what I do or could I have gotten there on time? If so, when? I would have gotten the geck back faster, but my genius self ran out of power and lost a large amount of time trying to make the money to buy more

Firstly, welcome to GameBanshee!

Secondly, please use search function in future, as that saves a lot of time as many questions like this one probably is asked already in past. No reason to wait for answers if the question is already answered elsewhere. Also, the owner of this site doesn't like dublicated threads too much.

And to answer your question: Yes, there is no way to save Arroyo from the destruction. It's part of the main story, but I don't go in details here to not spoil the rest of the game.

Oh, I apologize, I did a search and didn't find what seemed like a definate answer. Thanks though I'll make sure I check more thoroughly in the future
