Ship parts for Fallout 2

Post by Ronan »

I seem to have lost the NavCom parts needed to fix the ship in SF. Is there anyway I can pass the game now? I just wouldn't want to start the game all over.

I don't think there is. But there's an inventory editor floating around that lets you change an item you have to something else. That should help.

Also, there has been a "cheat file" around which alters Klamath Trapper Town in a way that there is one building containing almost every item from the game. Strangely enough, I didn't find it from No Mutants Allowed - Your Post Nuclear News Center! anymore, where I have got it. I will check if I find it from some of my cd's where I have collected all kind of files.

Oh, and the inventory editor, well, I have heard that it's a bit buggy and may corrupt the saved game. Haven't tested personally, but at least be aware the possibility of getting bugged.

I never had any problems with the editor, but if you use it, be sure to back up your save. Rather safe than sorry.

Thanks

Now I got a new problem. I can't beat Frank Horrigan! For some reason I can't disable the turrets: when I try to login it gives me no option to give a name, only "Help" and "maybe I should do this somewhere else." Also I have such low speech that I can't get the Enclave soldiers join me.

Never mind, I was lucky enough to get a level and my science up to 100% so I got the turrets on my side.
