Was this one of those 'more embarasing' methods you were refering to, Georgi? :D
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

Add to worst...
Crash (made our filmsoc worst 10... deserved its place)

@Leedogg, funny, Pitch Black was heading for my all-time low list... but I decided it was kind of amusing, so it didn't quite make it ;) But maybe I just don't remember it accurately... :D

And speaking of trailers... saw the Spiderman trailer today, and I have to say it looks like it's going to be awful...

I didn't like Pitch Black at all. I thought it was incredably cheesy, and poorly done. Same with that horrible Bats movie.

I thought it was a good movie, but I am the type who likes movies that the critics hate. If they give it a thumbs down, I will probably like it! :D Watched Castaway last night, It is now added to my favorites. ;) Anything with Tom Hanks, he is the best actor ever IMHO.

@Georgi, i always hold out hope, 13th warrior had fairly decent military tactics in it. I can not name many more movies off hand that actually feature good tactics. :(

@Lee *gasp* CASTAWAY!!!!!!! falls to the floor in a heap :( :D :D
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

@Sleep well, at least there was something good about 13th Warrior... ;)

@leedogg 'kay, I'm just warning you - never listen to my movie recommendations :D

Tom Hanks is admittedly a good actor... but dull, IMO. He's too all-American, if you know what I mean. ;)

Hey! Wha-da-ya-know! I'm all-american, too!

I can see that, still he's the best at portraying a wide variety of parts. In Castaway, I almost cried when he lost Wilson! Now that's an actor! :D :D

Another gripe with TV lately, is anyone else fed up with the so called reality shows?? I have had enough!! I live in reality! I damn sure don't want to watch it when I get home! Opinions welcome. :)

@leedogg no offence meant, although I'm sure you know that... ;) I haven't actually seen Castaway, I couldn't face the thought of so many hours of nothing but Tom Hanks... :D And I don't think he plays that wide a variety of parts, he's always hero-guy... You want that, check out Russell Crowe in Gladiator. Then in The Insider. Then in LA Confidential. Very different roles, and he is excellent in all of them. Now that's an actor. ;)

But yeah, reality tv is so passé :D

BTW, *hug and kiss* congrats on 1000 :D

T-yeah, i had to evacuate our platform, then it went way to the east of us. took us two days to get the platform back up and running. but it rained here at home. And now it is piling up even more rain now! we need the rain(they say) but I am sick of it!!! :D

Georgi- I liked the gladiator movie, but I thought Crowe was bland. I know you really just like to see him run and fight half naked!! :p Have you seen Proof Of Life? It is a good movie with Crowe in it.

TOM HANKS VERSITILITY-
Big
Forrest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
Castaway

OMG  You like Tom Hanks and you thought Russell Crowe was bland??!?!? I haven't seen Proof of Life (I heard bad things about it... ;) ). I don't deny that Maximus has talent :p :D but you can't tell versatility from one film, so like I said, watch The Insider. It's a totally different role. :) (Actually, don't watch it, you probably won't like it ;) ) Anyone who can steal every scene from Al Pacino has to be good :D

I think he was supposed to be downplayed in the gladiator. cuz of him not wanting to be there in the first place. The Insider, wasn't that the movie bout the tobacco company? I relly have seen anything with russell in it but the 2 movies I mentioned.

Another one of my favorites is Mel Gibson, especially in Payback. But his list is long also.

Yep, it's very good but I get the feeling you wouldn't like it. It's very slow-paced.

Yeah, I like Mel Gibson, despite the fact he seems to have a penchant for kicking English butt... :D He at least has more variety than Tom Hanks, because he does play characters with a darker side.

Kevin Spacey is good. (Understatement of the year...?) ;)
