I posted a link to the Rolling Thunder earlier on, and you weren't logged in yet anyway. As for wanting Georgi to myself, can you really blame me? :D

I'm already in debt for the next few decades by paying for all your beer today, I don't think I can afford to pay anymore.ImageImage

you can always afford beer - if a tramp can do it, so can you...

not that you act even remotely tramplike, you understand...

Hahaha...what has happened with this lad...?!? Don't tell me you've become sentimental... ;) So how is everything nowadays?!? Still harassing everyone and everything?!?

@Ode: Thanks... I guess I can count you as a "newbie-regular"...yes?!? And i don't blame you....this place soon becomes an addiction...just look at Weasel and Mr Sleep... ;)

@Minerva: Not a bad idea...although if I started a "World Cup" thread (which I most certain eventually will do) people would think that the only thing in my life is football...and that is not entirely true...(just a little bit...)

@Kid01: Nah...I wouldn't say that spam brought me back...(I've always been against "Spam"...always trying to promote well written posts and threads... So maybe you could say that the chance of fighting spam has brought me back... ;)

@C.Elegans: "Sell out"... ;) Hopefully Sweden can perform like they did during the "Magic Summer of 1994" when they fought hard and were rewarded with the bronze medal... :) Though I do agree that african football is exciting....just look at Nigeria's Julius Agahowa...

@Aegis: "Moderator"...*takes a bow and kisses som arse*....some things seem to have changed around here... :) Yup, it's been some time, but hopefully I should be back for good now... :)

@Georgi: Nothing wrong with football now...is there?!?

Yes, though, I agree it would be nice to see the cup come back to Canada, it'll be hard to root against my fav's.

Though, it isn't looking too pretty at the moment for either team, as Colorado is winning 1-0 in 2nd period as we speak
:D Lucky for you, I'm married, I'm twice your age and I'm on the other side of the Atlantic - otherwise you'd be in trouble :D ;)

I was actually a bit surprised the Red Wings managed to win on OT, since they have a history of having problems with Avalanche. The Caroline/Toronto match is going in the background here while I work, the hubby is away so for once I can follow the match although it's in the middle of the night here :D It's not looking too bright for Toronto now though, since Hurricanes are leading 1-0 in the end of 2nd.

Sorry for spamming your thread @Karembeu, I hope you enjoy hockey too, despite Sweden's Belarus trauma.

Sell out? Bah! :D *diplomatic voice on* But of course I hope all teams, Sweden included, will perform at their best. *diplomatic voice off*
Personally, I would like to see Nigeria and England going through from group F, meeting France and Senegal in the 2nd round. :)

PS: It's still a week to go, but if nobody else has started a world cup thread in a week, I'll do it just to save your face ;)

Semi-newbie regular (I've reached 1K, but have to wait 'til August for my SYM birthday), SLURR-merchant, general SLURR, SYM resident pothead and gunner of the Rolling Thunder, at your service. *bows*

I'm also a student of the Georgi Queen of Spam School of Comebacks (mostly learning by example, current no. of students enrolled:1 ;) ), and have progressed far enough in my lessons that I can spar with the Queen herself and not come out looking like a total idiot. On my own is a different matter. :rolleyes: :D
EDIT-Of course, I'm probably in for it now that I've revealed my evil plan :rolleyes:

@Aegis-Doesn't everyone love CE? ;) :D

Haha...so I can see... Seems like years ago we were all contending to reach 1 k...correct me if I'm wrong here but I'm sure good old Weasel was the first one to reach 1000 posts...

It's quite probable, Weasel is the master spammer after all (sorry Sleep!). Now the race is on to reach 10K, and Sleepy's nearly there, only about 500 more posts to go. I think the runner-up is Georgi, with around 7 and a half K, but I'd have to check on that.

Kayless has only recently passed 2K.

Were you going to get an avatar?

@Karembeu

Nice to see you again! You really should come visit more often, you know...

Plans on coming to Stockholm soon? We've created a Stockholm division of GameBanshee a couple of month ago, so make sure to send me or CE a PM before going to our great capital of wonders.
