I'm just quoting the classics. ;) :D Thank you Monty Python, creator of the spam usage in modern Internet vernacular. :)
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Why is it that everyone hates the rain?

Am I the only one that loves it? :)
Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

Probably. I hate the rain, especially if I have to walk in it. :)

Rain is cool :D Well, thunderstormy kind of rain is, the constant dreary grey drizzle that we get very often in this country isn't so great :rolleyes:

I'm in agreement with Georgi about this. A nice thunderstorm, particularly with a good, strong breeze and only moderate temperatures, is very bracing. But grey, British drizzle is about as dull as life can get.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
