Here in the Southwest, it looks as though people paid attention to the ban on fireworks. I didn't hear a single explosion last night! I'm impressed!

We had a BBQ (burgers and veggie burgers) in the shade last night. I took my daughter to see Lilo and Stitch in the afternoon. The kids didn't seem to miss the fireworks.

My kid ran everytime a fire cracker went off.

Glad to hear the ban worked. More fires in the southwest is not needed right now. Any chance of rain out there?

Nothing like normal though, for which I'm thankful since the whole strip of desert across from me is looking like a fire hazard

I can appreciate this, my daughter has always hated fireworks, she likes to sit inside and watch...but bangs in the night keep her awake

My son loves them, biggest and loudest is best

I so hope people are taking as much care as is possible....
