Folks, the heat level in this thread room is rather high, right now. I think it's distorting images we're possibly getting off one another. Speaking as somebody who prefers cool temperatures, may I suggest we all depart the sauna for the cold stream out back? If we return here, later, I'm sure the air will be much clearer.

SS, I understand you are very upset now and again, I'm sorry our initial discussion about belief/facts etc. deteriorated this way.

However, I do not recall having said you don't know how to debate, but I have been pointing out specific instances where I think you use invalid or irrelevant arguments, and stating "I'm a genious" is not a valid argument, not for anybody. Great scientists or artist does not become what they are because they say they are geniuses - they become what they are by presenting their stuff to the world.

I believe you are a talented person with a good aptitude for studying. Should you want to, I certainly think there's a good possibility you will become a scientist in the future. But becoming is scientist is no different from any other profession - you need training first. A surgeon is not merely a person who enjoys cutting in people - it's a person who has learned the skill.

@ Saturn, I’m sorry you feel like you were attacked. As Sleep stated, you should have pmd one of us or reported a forum violation. Asking people to abide by the forum rules does not constitute a personal attack.
The forum rules clearly state that if there is a problem with another member, discuss it in pms or email. There was also no need for you to claim CE wants to see you banned.
@ Everyone, Please do not continue discussions that have been closed in another topic.
Use common sense, if you feel someone didn’t see or address your point, pm them or ask nicely. Sometimes things get missed when people feel they have a number of points to address.
