SPOILER Requested - Assemanu

Post by Lunan »

SPOILER

I’m inside the cave Assemanu, SE of Seyda Neen. I have the Robe of St Roris and the Rusty Key. But I can’t open the door(s) to get out. How do I get out?
TIA

There are two exits from Assemanu, Shrine that lead to Assemanu itself. One leads to a small chasm, from the edge you can see a passage heading away from you, this is the passage you need to get to. You can either use a levitation spell/potion, or try jumping. The other door leads to the same problem, but without the jumping option.

If you haven't got the means to levitate, and can't make the jump then you can still escape if your playing on a PC. Typing COC "Seyda Neen" into the console should take you to that village.

PS Just realised that you only mentioned having the rusty key, you also need the Old Key, which is on the body of one of the Ordinators in Assemanu.

Thanks , that did the trick. I had tried both doors. Problem was, for some reason, I could not load the Rusty Key on my self. I'm out now and on my way back to to Duke Dren. Never did find the Old Key and now I will go back in to try to find it.

If you've completed the quest you don't need the key anymore, unless you're making a collection.

Not making a key collection but I wanted to see how I missed it. After searching high and low and everyone I slew, I never did find the Old Key, just the Rusty Key. But I had your method of getting out and it worked again. TA
