I bought this game with MOTB and I've had nothing but problems. My skills screen is completely missing from both games (OC and MOTB), and also I cant use crafting. No matter what I do, crafting items dosen't work. This makes playing through MOTB very annoying because now I have so many essences to upgrade and theyre useless. Even the most basic one, putting a water essence with a shortbow +4 in Safiya's pouch and casting ice storm on it does nothing except use up the spell. '
I tried the bioware forums but no one helped.
Does anyone know how to fix these two problems?!?!
Okay, and also now my friggin updater dosent work either! My game is stuck at version 1.10.1116

It's not a Bioware game, so that wouldn't have helped. Have you tried Atari's tech support board for NWN2, just as your quote recommended? Because I just did a very basic search, and I don't see your question, there. They'd be the ones to try, after all.I tried the bioware forums but no one helped.

It was developed by Obsidian (primarily) and Bioware, for Atari. (Their logos are on the box, too.) So if you want support, you go to the company that commissioned and published the title, Atari, or to the primary developer, Obsidian. Unless this website says otherwise, and it doesn't.bushwhacker2k wrote:Yeah, um... Fable, please explain how it's not a Bioware game. Is bioware a marketing company? Their logo is on the box.

FWIW, Bioware has a substantial forum presence for NWN2. So posting there looking for technical support isn't such a bad idea.
That being said, I have no idea about the problem. I've never heard of somebody not being able to access their skills page. Assuming that bushwhacker didn't do a lot of console stuff, and that he has a legal copy of the game, I'd suggest taking it back and getting a replacement.

Just for the record, the forum isn't listed as a Bioware game on their site. The main NWN2 game forum is accessible through the Atari "community" forum link, and that's currently administered by Bioware.
Regardless of who's in charge, the important point is to check that out. If they can't help on something like this, chances are we can't. After all, it's Atari's game, their money, and their support services.
