After talking to Jauffre I Went to a cave only to find out I'd been there but this time I found a scroll to give to Jauffre (one spy had already been killed). I went to see him but I had a red hand. Saw if I can talk to anyone else but still had a red hand. Went to Bruma (on way killed spy 2) and the red hand was still there- waited an hour (game time) and then agina and again but I still can't talk to anyone 'cause the hand is always red--even though my quest says I can now talk to him and the arrow points to him.
What do I do? Is it a bug or did I miss something? HOw do I talk to him (or anyone else for that matter)?

Your in sneak mode. The red hand is suggesting you are trying to steal from him. Unactivate whatever you use for sneak (usually Ctrl for computers, dunno for xbox).
