Need some help with NPC Editing

Hi everyone

im going to play through bg series again...and this time i want to make valygar a barbarian with shadowkeeper

the problem is i dont have 100% insight in the rules used

and when i try to change him to barbarian he still have his ranger abilities and his hitpoints doesnt change and all that

the easiest thing would be a mod for D&D noobs that just let u do this easy with npc's....but in case i have to use shadowkeeper i would appriciate if someone could list what i have to change.....i realize it might be alot of work but if anyone does it he/she have my eternal thx

In SK set level, thieving skills, innate abilities, proficiencies, and XP to zero, reset hit points to 1 ( 10 if changing Imoen, if you set them lower she'll run screaming from the dungeon as per script), set class to that desired and {where relevant) select whichever kit you think appropriate.

Load up your edited save in game, and level up to 1st level, save and exit.

In SK set XP to the amount necessary for the level you desire.

If you haven't met Valygar yet, the Level 1 NPC mod will do the trick as well.
