jail issue

Post by somebody »

I currently have an 87,000 bounty on me. It started off when i stole something useless and at the time did not feel like giving it back, so i killed the gaurd. Since then i have refused arrest and did not want to go to jail because it lowers your skills. I regret it now. Is there anything like a pardon or way to stop making guards try to arrest me? Or maybe just a cheap way to get about 90k?
(have ps3 version btw)
-any help appreciated

I've removed a duplicate of this post from the thread bragging about one's bounty. Please don't post contents twice in a forum to gain extra attention. Thanks.

Well I've gotten a bounty around that level but I had enough gold to pay it off. Unfortunately it didn't give me the option to pay it off so I think once you reach a certain limit you can't pay it off no matter what. You only have 3 options that I know of. 1) Go to jail. 2) Resist arrest more. 3) Join the thieves guild, earn half of your bounty through whatever means possible and tell one of the guild doyen you would like the bounty removed.
