Less charactors, more exp each?

Less charactors, more exp each?

What I am asking is if I have less people in my party does each charactor get more exp.? So the less people in my party the faster they level? is this correct? I know that the experince you receive for kills is divided among your party. But if you less of a party does the game retro actively reduce the amount of experince you get from killing monsters?

Nay, fortunately it doesn't matter how many people you have in your party. XP is not shared, it's just given to everyone. Even those characters you're not actively adventuring with.
Sage plays a paladin,
because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion
