Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! -a satirical RPG

Post by fable »

Yes, it's a game. By the look of it, a fun send-up of the RPG genre, set in a girl's high school in the 1920s. But it sounds like a surprisingly good RPG, with many of the traditional RPG trappings: various weapons stats, skills, building a party of NPCs, combat/confrontation, etc. Be sure to click on the thumbnails, if you've got a wry sense of humor.

You can read about it here, and get details on its mini-games here.

Just in demo, right now. I'm waiting on the final release.

Sorry for the late reply but doesn't this setting sound familiar? I almost mistook it for some Japanese title.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Actually, so did I.. :D

I'm not sure what to make of the description, but I'll be interested in Fable's impressions.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I liked the little I saw of it, and interested my wife, who downloaded the demo. It looks like a fun RPG parody, a sort of cross between Dickens, the Belles of St. Trinians, and a bit of Charles Addams. The idea of acquiring boyfriends to use as meatshields when verbally attacked by suspicious matrons and janitors is a great one. :D
