Good to Evil?
Hello, I'm new here and I have a question for Fable:TLC. I've started my characted as a good or "light" one and l am nearly at the end of the game. However, I have been seized by a sudden urge to become and evil-doer and l was wondering if it is possible to go from a 100% good character to one of pure malice? (that would be evil)
Ty in advance.

You can zigzag through the alignments all you want. Just make donations at the right temple, kill the right people, and eat the right things.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Sure, you can hop aligments as many times as you want.Threadnought wrote:Hello, I'm new here and I have a question for Fable:TLC. But getting fully good is harder than getting fully evil.
*spoilers, highlight so see*
To get good:
Spoiler
-Donate at the temple of Avo. (lots and lots of money)
-Kill monsters, bandits, and anything hostile. (even the bandits in Twinblades camp will get you good points)
-Do good quests. (But this way of getting good runs out quite quickly)
-It even seems that you can get a tiny bit of good points by ussing good skills like Heal.
-Eat tofu.

Spoiler
-Kill non-hostile NPC's. (like the citizens of a town or random traders)
-Steal stuff.
-Breake stuff. (like doors and windows)
-Eat crunchy chickens.
-Do evil quests. (They run out fast)
-Sacrifise at the temple of Skorm.
-Maybe even if you use evil skills, but im not sure. (like berserk)

Spoiler
If you have TLC, and beat jack, and dicide to wear the mask, you will be max evil for ever (it seems however that by donating at the temple of avo, or doing other things to get good, your appearence does change, so horns disappear and an auriol starts appearing. Your aligment srays full evil)

How come?Loredweller wrote:To me it seems just the other way![]()
I find it so much easier to get evil..
For every murder you get like 16 evil points (2 for hitting, 14 for killing)
for every monster kill you get 2 good points...
1 killing spree in town equals 8 times as many monster killing..

Environment Makes a Difference
I think it depends on where you do your killing. If you're in town, then the people you kill will most likely get you evil points.
If you're outside of a town (except Necropolis), what you kill will get you good points (unless it's a wandering trader or guard). And places like Cliffside Path will happily spawn creatures for you to kill.
What it comes down to is what your preferred playing style is and how that affects your alignment. I personally find it easier to accrue good points with my playing style.

but what I mean is:
Getting evil takes me 1 hour, I just kill and destroy eveything in every town.. done.. I leave when guards start spawning.
Getting good takes like 4 hours of mindless slashing on cliffside path.. all those zombies.. 2 good points each.. takes soooo long..

Well, it may depend on the way you approach the game
I do like RP, so i see no reason for just unmotivated killing. Few choices what are in quests seem just dumb ... All what attacks you give good points on kill, if you're not going for townsfolk killing i see no reason for. The only really effective thing to lessen your goodness is to bring somebody to that Chapel of Skorm.

ah, you mean going to good way, not switching between sides.
You are right tough. Going good is easier in the game than going evil.
But switching from evil --> good is harder than switching good --> evil.

Chaos (or balanced alignment)
I find that the Chapel of Skorm and Avo's Temple make it easy to make large adjustments away from good/evil without spending "much." For the Chapel of Skorm, it's so easy to pick up a couple of mercenaries. By the time I get to Avo's Temple, I have enough gems to quickly acquire more money whenever I need it.
The tricky thing was when I wanted a Sorcerer named Necromancer. I really didn't want to acquire the Paladin title for that character (a sorcerer called Paladin
).
