Need help with Vatachen's Secret quest

ok, ive got the book, but the guy im supposed to take the book to won't talk to me cuz im a vampire. i see the room when the pillers go up after a spell, but i can't go in becuz the pillars aren't high enough. need help so i can get promoted.

Maybe he would talk to you after you feed? If not, here are the spells you need and the order you need to cast them (a scroll will also work if you don't already know a spell of the required type)

fire, frost, sever/damage magicka, restore/fortify magicka. If you don't know the spell and need a scroll, most of the scrolls you need are in a chest right outside the pillar room.

But try saving before using any of those scrolls. If you make a mistake, which is probable, then you won't have to go hunting for the requisite spell or scroll.

ok, but will my charm magic spells work on him, or well it be better if i feed on him?

Try feeding on someone else, then come back to meet him. If he still refuses to talk, then charm him. Either way should yield a result.

Ok, im no longer a vampire, but i got a new problem. I cant find any spell that fortifys magick, i have the drain magicka, but it wont work, it might have to be damage magicka. So whenever i try drain magicka spell on pillar i need to cast it on, those stones shock, then i have to start the proccess all over agian. I need to know if it has to be "DAMAGE" magicka spell, ( and if it is, plz tell me where i can get), and tell me where i can find a fortify magicka spell that has to be cast on objects.

The spells you need are Damage Magicka and Fortify Magicka.

Fortify magicka can be bought at Edgars Discount spells in the Imperial city.

Damage magicka can be purchased from Sulinus Vassinus in the Skingrad Mages Guild.

I think i cleaned that store in Imperial City out when i made big gold. But I need one that will fortify on cast call, like to cast on objects. I was kinda thinkin' that when I get the fortify magicka spell to cast on touch, and use damage magicka last, that all the shocker stones will shock the pillar at once.
