HK-47 - Vocabultor post Peragus?

Good (early) morning,

As a big fan of KOTOR 1, I'm kind of gunning for HK-47 in my party. However, when I was on Peragus I could not get the HK-50 to die. After he cited his 'self-destruction sequence' none of my attacks could damage him, and he never did explode and leave me his remains.

So I figured it was either a strange decision of Obsidian to have him 'jiggle in place' after the line and that he would explode after I left the area, or that I hit a bug. I figured the former, and finished Peragus.

Now I'm on the Artic area of Telos and come to find that I'm... screwed?

Please tell me that I can purchase, salvage or find one elsewhere. I'm not going to load up my last Peragus save game and play through the errand-boy tasks of Citadel Station for six hours again.

I should also add, I'm playing on the XBOX, so cheating the item into my inventory is a no-no.

Welcome to the forums _oswald.

I'm sorry to say that I never encountered that bug.

But I am pleased to say that you can buy those parts from mercants. There is one part that can only be gotten by buying it. I also once forgot to pick up a part from a destroyed HK-50, but I managed to buy it later. I'm not sure about the vocabulator since I always found it, but I'm pretty sure it can be bought.

You might want to try destroying the HK-50 on Peragus again because he also drops a unique item called "Droid Self-Sustaining Unit" only for T3-M4.
