Store not opening

Post by Red_Harvest »

Once in a while a store closes one day and then won't open. I'm almost positive that they should open every day at around 8. This time the Mystic Emporium in the Imperial city didn't open. It was ok the one day, went to do the azura's star quest and came back, it was about 10 in the morning and it was still closed.

any help here? thanks

This same exact thing happend to me at one point. I had to go to the girl in there to buy upgrades for that Spire plug-in but it wouldn't open. I waited every 3 hrs (even the guy in the white robe was waiting :laugh :) But eventually i decided to pick the lock & wala! i could buy things again. But if a gaurd sees you, your bounty will only be around 5 gold.

It's a bug with the Frostcrag extension, but if you're playing on a PC then instead of picking the lock, open the console, click on the door, then type in Unlock, that doesn't trigger the guards.

PS You may have to go upstairs and open the door to the bedroom to get them to go down to the shop, at least that's what happened with me.
