HELP! problem with Ritual of purification ACT II

Hey guys i really need some help here. i'm kinda stuck with the ritual,
the problem is that when i try to activate the statue after entering the ruins of Arvahn. the prompt keeps telling me that its' a failure as i'm in combat.the walkthrough mentioned to reload and start over again. thing is. i've already solved the rest of the mini quests in the Ro.A. and i'm left with this statue outside. and i don't have a saved game before entering this area.
erm... so any ideas?
i'm stuck

That's an unfortunate situation you've there. I'm afraid the only thing I can readily recommend in the standard stuff. Patch your game, leave the area, rest, try again. If this doesn't work the only safe way of continuing your game would be to reload.

Hey I have the exact same problem but none of the technical support sites seem to recognise it as a known issue

Did u find a way to solve it yet??

There is no way to fix it, as far as I know. But it can be avoided by activating the statue in the open first, then proceeding to finish the rest.
