I am playing the x-box version, and while doing the Fighters guild quest(A Rat Problem) after talking to Arvena Thelas, she tells me to go to her basement and check on the rats. When I go there I killed the moutain lion in the basement and then it says to return to Arvena Thelas and tell her the news.
But I can't find her anywhere in the town. The only thing it shows is a red arrow outside east of the town. So I went there, but there isn't anythnig around. Is this a bug, or am I losing my mind. Thanks

The futures uncertian and the end is always near.
You're not losing your mind, this is one of the known bad side affects of Radiant AI, NPC's will go wandering off leaving you high and dry. I had a similar problem with the other character involved in the quest (after the point your currently at) for some obscure reason she's wandered all the way to Chorrol. In the end I went and did other things and came back later, I suggest you do likewise.
