Word of Faith - Correct Spell Description please!

Post by Solusek »

Hey guys,

could anybody give me the correct spell description of the cleric spell Word of Faith please? It is NOT the one shown ingame and/or in the manual. Or is this spell just bugged?

It says it stuns all enemies for 1 round per 2 caster levels, no save. I don't know what it does, but that's certainly not it. In fact, it does nothing at all. The enemies it hits are subject to a spell resistance check. No matter if they succeed or fail, nothing happens.

So long,

If you look here, it sounds like it should be trying to blind your enemies.

Thank you very very much!
At least the spell isn't totally useless then. Pretty handy vs. tough melee groups actually.

I haven't noticed if summons are strong or not (so I don't know if it matters), but the spell also gets rid of them.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Actually it does stun weaker opponents. Ones with low HDs get stunned. I remember using once.

SPOILER (highlight to read) It was during the Crossroad Keep siege in the courtyard. Stunned most of the Luskan soldiers when Zhjaeve used it.
